20th edition
The 20th edition of the Corrida da Liberdade Portimão (Portimão Freedom Run) took place on 25 April 2026 with a record number of participants! A thousand athletes took part in the 10 km Run, 5 km Walk and Children’s Race, in an event organised by Portimão City Council, with both the start and finish lines set in the Portimão Riverside Area.
